We offer a flexible Membership Freeze (suspension) option so you can hit pause without losing your member benefits or having to pay a new joining fee later.

❄️ Membership Freeze Details

Our goal is to provide a flexible membership that moves with you.

  • Cost: Only $2.50 per week to hold your spot and lock in your current membership rate.

  • Flexibility: You can freeze your membership as many times as you like throughout the year.

  • Duration: Freezes must be in blocks of at least one week and require a specific start and end date.

  • Paid in Advance: For fixed-term memberships, the freeze fee is paid upfront for the duration of the pause.

💡 Good to Know:

  • Account Status: To process a freeze, your account should be in good standing (no overdue payments).

  • Access: Your access to the facility and services is paused during the freeze period.

  • Notice Periods: A freeze cannot be applied once a cancellation request has been submitted.

  • Advance Notice: We require notice before your freeze begins, as we cannot backdate or apply freezes retroactively.


🩺 Medical Suspensions

Your health is the priority. If you are unable to use the centre due to injury or illness, we offer medical freezes to support your recovery.

  • Cost: $0 (Free of charge) for up to 3 months.

  • Requirement: Just provide us with a valid medical certificate covering the dates.

  • Extended Recovery: For recoveries requiring more than 3 months, we recommend a chat with our team to find the best long-term solution for your membership.


🖱️ How to Freeze Your Membership

Option 1: Client Portal (Fastest)

Manage your membership 24/7 without needing to call or email:

  1. Log in to your Client Portal.

  2. Go to Contract Details and select your Active Contract.

  3. Click Freeze Contract.

  4. Enter your dates and reason, then hit Confirm.

  5. You will receive an instant confirmation email for your records.

Fair Use Policy

Membership freezes are designed to support you during genuine temporary absences. This ensures you don't have to cancel and rejoin, preserving your history with us.

To ensure fairness for our entire community, we monitor freeze patterns. We ask that freezes aren't used to "toggle" billing on and off based on daily usage, but rather for those times when you truly can't make it to the centre.
